Role Overview
We are looking for a versatile professional who can bridge plant operations, data/AI and enterprise technology. The role can be shaped around either a hands-on builder who develops production-grade analytics and AI solutions, or a transformation leader who defines the roadmap, aligns stakeholders and scales solutions across sites. The common requirement is the ability to convert real manufacturing needs into measurable business outcomes.

Turn operational problems into scalable digital solutions by combining AI, data, manufacturing systems and business transformation.
Two Strong Ways to Succeed in This Role
AI / DATA BUILDER
Best for a candidate strong in data science, AI development, agents, automation, modelling and hands-on delivery.
Own prototypes through production and work directly with business teams to prove value.
TRANSFORMATION LEADER
Best for a candidate strong in manufacturing applications, MES/SAP, IT/OT, program delivery, roadmaps and stakeholder leadership.
Set priorities, orchestrate delivery and scale proven solutions across operations.
What You Will Own
Opportunity discovery: Partner with plant, operations and corporate teams to identify high-value use cases in productivity, quality, maintenance, planning, energy, waste, service and knowledge work.
Solution design: Translate business problems into practical architectures spanning data pipelines, analytics, AI/LLM capabilities, automation, APIs and manufacturing applications.
Delivery: Build directly or lead delivery from proof of concept through production, including testing, rollout, adoption, monitoring and continuous improvement.

Industrial integration: Connect solutions to the operational ecosystem, including MES, ERP/SAP, historians, shop-floor data and adjacent enterprise systems when relevant.
Scale & governance: Create reusable standards, patterns and decision criteria so successful initiatives can be replicated across teams or sites without creating unnecessary complexity.
Value realization: Define success metrics and communicate impact in business terms such as throughput, downtime, OEE, quality, cost, cycle time, user productivity or risk reduction.
Stakeholder leadership: Facilitate decisions across operations, IT, data, vendors and leadership; surface trade-offs early and keep technical work aligned with business priorities.

Technical depth: Ability to reason about data models, integrations, APIs, automation and modern AI systems; hands-on coding depth is highly valued for builder-oriented candidates.
Systems thinking: Ability to connect local use cases to enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, supportability, data quality and long-term operating models.
Execution: Track record of moving ambiguous problems toward implemented solutions, not just recommendations or prototypes.
